The sixth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP) of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification was held in the Palacio de Convenciones, Havana, Cuba, from 25 August to 5 September 2003.

The sixth session of the Committee on Science and Technology (CST) was held from 26 to 29 August 2003 and the second session of the Committee for the Review of the Implementation of the Convention (CRIC) from 26 to 29 August 2003.
