The Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP) aims to enhance communication, coordination and cooperation, and to build a strong network of individuals and organizations. ES-Partnership enhances and encourages a diversity of approaches, while reducing unnecessary duplication of effort in the conceptualization and application of ecosystem services.
The ESP, convened by the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) and CGIAR Research Program, is organizing its Annual International Conference, in Bali, Indonesia, from the 26th to the 30th of August, 2013. The emphasis of its sixth international Ecosystem Services Partnership conference will be on the practical application of the ecosystem services concept in planning, management and decision making illustrated with actual case studies.
The program consists of a mix of plenary sessions, workshops (organized by the ESP working groups), open-topic sessions (proposed and organized by participants) and special sessions devoted to specific topics proposed by the collaborating organizations and sponsors.
The deadline for the “early bird” registration is on June 15th, 2013 (15% discount).
