UNCCD E-learning courses

The UNCCD Capacity Building Marketplace offers various e-learning courses, aimed at broadening your capacity, and helping you develop your knowledge and expertise on various topics related to the efficacious implementation of the UNCCD.

All courses developed by the Capacity Building Marketplace are available online, free of charge. Participants can receive a certificate after successfully completing the course and passing the assignments.

The following courses are currently available:

1/ The role of the National Focal Point to the UNCCD
The National Focal Points (NFPs) are the first and main point of contact for the Parties as regards the entire UNCCD process. This e-learning course is aimed at helping to capacitate NFPs through giving them the opportunity to better understand what their functions are; and to develop the necessary skills to carry out the same.
2/ The UNCCD reporting process

The Secretariat is mandated to facilitate capacity building to support reporting entities in the reporting process. This e-learning course is one of the tools being offered to help capacitate reporting entities, enabling them to successfully conclude their 2014 report.
