Understanding the indicator
The indicator measures the performance of the bilateral contribution process through quantification of the flow of financial resources from developed country Parties to affected country Parties for the implementation of the Convention, in compliance with the obligation under Article 6, paragraph (b), of the Convention.
From the reports of developed country Parties, the GM will extract the amounts made available through desertification/land degradation and drought-related programmes and projects during the reporting period, to (a) Affected country Parties; and (b) Multilateral organizations.
 
Data needed
Total amounts committed and total amounts disbursed within DLDD-related programmes and projects supporting affected country Parties.
Data sources
UFAs submitted by developed country Parties as part of the reporting exercise.

Please note: this indicator will be compiled by the Global Mechanism on the basis of the data provided by developed country Parties in the Unified Financial Annexes.
