FAO Climate and Flood Forecast Applications in Agriculture (Bangladesh)

Participants learn for instance how weather and climate work, what the basis agriculture structures of Bangladesh are, how Climate Change hits agriculture communities and how the agricultural practices can be adapted to Climate Change and weather. These training modules on climate and flood forecast application in agriculture were developed to build capacity: - to interpret probabilistic climate and flood forecast information - translate these into location specific impact outlooks - prepare locally relevant response options, - and communicate these to vulnerable farming communities to   reduce disaster risk in agriculture
