UNCCD and IPS: Media Training Session on Sustainable Development Goals
The international news agency Inter Press Service (IPS), the United Nations Foundation, and the UN Convention to Combat Desertification are currently organising a journalism training workshop on the professional follow up and coverage of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2015-2030.
The two-day workshop taking place on the 25th and 26th of October 2016 in Bonn targets about 25 journalists and civil society information and communication specialists with an interest in reporting on the Sustainable Development Goals.
The SDG workshop is aimed at helping reporters and editors by providing information, tools and strategies to better understand, report on and communicate key sustainable development goal implementation issues.
Journalists, reporters, editors and communication experts are welcome to register for this training. Travel, food and accommodation are not covered. There are no inscription or registration fees.
