John Dillon Fellowship


This fellowship scheme provides. career development opportunities for outstanding young agricultural scientists or economists from the partner countries of the Australian Center for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) who are involved in a current or recently completed ACIAR project.
 
Generally, a fellowship includes  5 - 6 week period in Australia. At least for 50% of the fellowship period, fellows have to spend at 1 - 2 Australian organizations such as the Federal Government Department, a university, a cooperative research center or state department of Agriculture. Fellows will also participate in a formal research management training course in Australia and undertake a structured programme of visits to various institutes and relevant events.
