WORK EXPERIENCE May 2011 – Dec 2012 Part-time Programme atDept. the Agricultural Hub, Ministry of Agriculture. Events Management - I have designed and developed databases for potential investors farmer associations, and contacts for farmers in their different categories. In addition, I have successfully organised a workshop for the Ministry of Agriculture on Beef Value Chain Study. A particular achievement was being able to facilitate in the event management of the workshop. Was the lead organiser in the designing of Advertorials for the department e.g. banners for National Agricultural Show 2012. Market Research Survey – I have successfully assisted on compiling the research of Horticultural Cropping Plan and the Botswana Horticulture. I have managed to conduct interviews through questionnaires, capture data and analysed using SPSS. I contributed towards the draft of the 1991 National Policy on Agricultural Development, which is currently under review. Help to construct the monthly Agricultural Hub Progress Report, which is presented to His Excellency the President ultimately. Furthermore, I compile the monthly (departmental) envelope. Since June 2012, I write and submit monthly articles for the Ministry publication (Agri-news), under the Youth in Agriculture Column. April 2009 – Aug 2009 Sales, Marketing and Administration Executive at Vuka Plastics Fabrication Botswana. My responsibilities included seeking and securing prospective clients. These mainly comprised of construction companies and water departments. I managed inbound phone calls, at the same time delivering excellent customer service. Moreover, I directly interfaced with customers while responding to inquiries. April 2009 and October 2010 Data entry consultant and Events organisation at Daisy-R Solutions. Daisy-R is a wellness company. I have helped to organise events such as the ‘Phenomenal Diva’ and the 'Knight of Men'. The knight of men fused men's health awareness with musical entertainment very well. It highlighted Vusi Mahlasela, Allou April and Sedibeng Choral society. May 2005 – January 2006 Editorial and Special Projects at Farmers Magazine Botswana Efficiently generated information for, and wrote articles featured in the Magazine. I was also responsible for conducting interviews with farmers across Botswana as well as securing adverbials for the publication. August 1999 – December 1999 Religious Education Teacher at Bonington Junior Secondary School. I taught all diverse religions as per the syllabus required. However, I was appointed class teacher. That meant that I was entirely responsible for the general conduct of my class. The post also came with addressing individual problems of the students such as puberty blues.
