The Drylands Champions programme is designed to enable participating countries to recognize national activities that make a practical contribution to sustainable land management (SLM) practices.
Everyone is eligible to apply to receive a Dryland Champions certificate for their actions, activities, initiatives and projects that introduce, facilitate, promote and/or implement SLM practices/policies at local/national levels.
The only precondition to be recognized as a Drylands Champions is that the activity or project took or take place in one of the countries that participates in the programme.
