Work ExperienceI have participated in both planning and implementation of various national and international projects. My experience includes the scientific leadership of several projects related to: analysis of climate change impacts, adaptation and mitigation strategies in agricultural sector; improvement of agricultural water availability, security and management, including promotion of women cooperatives; set up of methodologies and support systems for the evaluation of forest fire risk in extreme meteorological conditions; methods for accounting the exchanges and absorption of CO2 in Mediterranean ecosystems; evaluation of mitigation strategies at urban and regional levels; climate risk assessment in agriculture and coastal development; climate change research on shrub-land ecosystems. In all these projects, my responsibilities include monitoring project schedule and performance, as well as coordinating scientific activities with international partners
QualificationsDegree in Agricultural Sciences, University of Sassari, 1982; Three-year Post Doctoral specialization program in grometeorology and Micrometeorology
