Work Experience1. RAISE Project, director, 2002-2008, Rangelands Atmosphere-Hydrosphere-Biosphere Interaction Study Experiment in Northeastern Asia. This was a project to investigate into the recent environmental changes that is taking place in Asian steppe region, with forcus onto the Mongolian grasslands, and interaction between hydrosphere, atmosphere and biosphere. 2. P3 project, PI, 2008-, Collapse and Restration of Ecosystem Networks with Human Activity, in Mongolian steppe region. Vegetation use of water, sustainable groundwater use are two specific research targets. 3. Sustainable Systems for Food and Bio-energy Production under Water-saving Irrigation in the Egyptian Nile Basin project. 2009-, PI.
