| Work Experience | I have carried out a research on the effect of soil salinity on the uptake and distribution of nutrients in legumes, screening of crops for salt tolerance and salinity control; Worked on the effect of soil moisture stress on crop yields; Assessing the potential of seasonally flooded lands for sustainable crop production; Soil mapping and soil taxonomic classification; Use of expert system shells for agricultural land evaluation, prediction of risks associated with improper land use and degradation of agricultural lands, modelling soil - water relationships, computerized land information systems; Shelter belt management and desertification control; Solute movements in soils, residual soil moisture farming, use of modern laboratory techniques in soil and plant analysis, air-photo interpretation and physiographic analysis. |
