| Work Experience | Worked on the soils of Sindh Province to determine the soil micronutrients (I.e. Fe, Cu, Mn, etc.) status. The role of Vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol) in plants has been studied and discussed and a hypothesis has been suggested to the possible location of a alpha-tocopherol in plant membranes & interaction between alpha-tocopherol and phospholipids. Effect of various fertilizers on the yield and vigour of major oil seed crops of Pakistan has been studied. Presently, physiological effects of salt and heat stresses on wheat and cotton crops have been studied. |
