| Work Experience | As postdoctoral research soil scientist (1987-89) at Dept. Soil and Env. Sciences, UC Riverside, I worked in several research projects:
- Investigated the effect of on site disposal of residual and blow down water on quality of soil and ground water at Mojave desert.
- Studied nitrate-N in the deep profiles of desert soils, Mojave, California.
- Participated and completed projects on Se, As, Mo and P accumulation by crops-US Salinity Drainage Task Force.
- Since 1990 completed studies on trace elements pollution of terrestrail-aquatic system, Kabal River. Pollution of soils and crops in the urban area of Peshawar City. Evaluated soil fertility of deforested soils of Kaghan Valley.
- Investigated the problem of salinization at District Karak.
- Presented a review paper on the management of dry land resources to combat desertification in Bahawalpur desert. |
