| Work Experience | I work on two main project. (1) Molecular cloning and gene regulation of low molecular wieght GTP binding proteins in eukaryotic cells: I have characterized a 28kDa GTP binding protein which is regulated by hypo anyl hyper osmotic shock in D. Salina. I have also characterized and cloned Arfi gene ( ADP ribosylation factor) in chlamydomonas reinharndtii. Two Arf genes were found in C-reinhandtii and one on them is controlled by circadianclock. (2) I have done a lot of work on heavy metal accumulation and detoxification mechanism in plants. I have found several Mn. Zn. Cu. and Cd. accumulation plants and will use these plants to acid phyto remediation. |
