Work ExperienceAfter graduation from the University, Wang engaged in the study of Chemical Geography. He worked for two years in the Applied Geochemistry Research Group, Department of Geography, Imperial College, London, from 1984 to 1986 and did cooperative research in the Monitoring and Assessment Research Centre (UNEP, WHO Coordination Centre), King's College, London, as a visiting scholar in1988. He took the responsibility in more than 15 national scientific projects, covered twenties provinces from Tibet, Loess Plateau and northeast, southwest parts of China. His experiences in field work, observation and laboratory experiments leads to outstanding contribution in the distribution, migration, transformation of chemical elements in the environment and its effects on human health will benefit the environment protetion, ecological conservation and regional development on the human health and economy both in theory and practice.
