- Design of Blown Sand Control for Shapotou - Mengjiawan Sector. Baotou - Lanzhou Line (1975, The Tengger desert);
- Experimental Study on dealing with Jilantai Salt Lake Sand Damages (1984 - 1992, the Ulanbh Desert of Inner Mongolia and Ningxia);
- Studies on Quaternary Glaciers and Environmental Evolution in Helan Mts. (1993, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia);
- Ecological Restoration of Polluted Land in the West Suburb of Baotou City (1993-1995, Baotu, Inner Mongolia);
