Work ExperienceHead and participant of 9 national key projects or national nature fund projects, including comprehensive investigation and division of agriculture on Loess Plateau, natural resources and harness technology of improving ecological environmental, rainwater catchment and its high efficient use, crop potential productivity and the raising approaches, physiological basis of crop stress resistance and so on. Working in drought area about 14 years, employed as co-head of crop ecology department of present institute (5 years), and management an international conference (1997). Gave some lectures on international courses and remaining international relations with Israel, Iran, Turkey, Japan, Australia, America and so on. Present field of research: (1) Crop ecology and improving approaches of the productivity in dryland farming. (2) Physiology of crop and raising of WUE. (3) Stress physio-ecology of crop and drought resistance. (4) Water environment of farmland and management of limited
