Work Experience- From January 1997 until October 1998, I have been working as a research associate and as a visiting Scientist supported by Chinese Academy of Sciences in the GIS laboratory of the Texas Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit. My responsibilities were to prepare maps of agricultural crops in Lubbok County and Terry Country, Texas based on analysis of LandSat Imagery and USDA records. I worked as part of a team in this effort and developed the skills to expand my work to include soil maps and crop type by soil type for these two counties. - 1991-1996: Participated in the research project 'Remote Sensing Monitoring System of Desertification in Agro-pastoral Region' - 1982-1990: Studied Remote Sensing and Desertification Monitoring in Lanzhou Institute of Desert Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences - Project: Resources and Environment Macro-recall and Analysis Information System in China - Research Field: Desertification Monitoring and GIS based on Remote Sensing and Computer
