Work ExperienceI have taken on the project on desert plant ecology research since 1982. I carried on the research project on the biogeochemistry of desert environment from 1988 to 1990. From 1989 to 1997, I have carried on the comprehensive controlling on desertification in southern margin of Taklamakan Desert, and expert system and optimal model of oases comprehensive protecting system in southern margin of Taklamakan Desert, and increasing the productivity of oases, water saving techniques in southern margin of Taklamakan Desert. I also carried cooperation research project between China and Japan on Desertification Mechanism from 1991 to 1995. I cooperate on desert plant tolerance with Japanese researchers in National Institute for Environmental Studies. I have taken up the project on ecophysiology of four desert trees supported by Chinese Academy of Sciences and Japanese Science Promotion Society, and meantime, take up Ph.D. research inShizuoka University of Japan, and this project started in
