Work Experience I am at present responsible for the UNESCO hydrogeological program, IHPV(1996-2001) on groundwater protection for the Arab region, and member of the UNESCO group on "agricultural threats to groundwater". I have conducted various training programs in Egypt and at CEHAM institutes in the regular groundwater management and conjunctive water use (Bari and Zaragoza). Member in the women group on "Public awareness for water resources protection in Egypt. Member of the advisors committee for various special units within the Ministry of Public works and Water Resources, Ministry of housing and Ministry of Agriculture. Advisor/director of various internationally funded research projects on groundwater management, assessment, and protection (US AID, CIDA, DANIDA). Director of the Dutch-Egyptian Project "Environmental Management of Groundwater Resources", research institute for groundwater, Water Specialist in the Panel of Experts for the "Oases Research Center". Member of the civil engineering group in the Egyptian syndicate for engineer, and head of the scientific working team. 3.
