Work Experience1971-1984: Instrument meteorologist and deputy chief of Instrument Division, Finnish Meteorological Institute. 1985-1991: Aeronautical meteorologist at Helsinki-Vantaa international airport, Finnish Meteorological Institute. 1991-1993: Expert in climatology, WMO/FINNIDA project for Central America, San Jose, Costa Rica. 1993-1996: Senior meteorologist and deputy chief of Regional Office fro Southern Finland, Helsinki-Vantaa international airport, Finnish Meteorological Institute. 1988-1990 and 1993 to date TV-meteorologist (freelancer) of Finnish broadcasting company, YLE About 15 years I worked as an instrument meteorologist. My responsibilty was to develop the network of meteorological stations in Finland and I wrote some manuals for observations. I also studied humidity-, solar radiation-, wind meassurement instrument and developed new ice accumulation measurement instruments.
