Work ExperienceDr Isabelle DROY, Socio-Economist, is researcher at the Institute of Research for Development Research since 1985. She is working in the Unity “Resiliences”. Her main topic of research focuses on vulnerability to poverty and gender inequalities in rural African and Malagasy areas. She set up several socio-economic observatories dedicated to following poverty indicators in various regions of Africa and Madagascar. At the moment, she is studying the inter-relations between society vulnerability/adaptability and ecosystem vulnerability/resilience in three areas of Benin, Mali and Niger.
