Work ExperienceGuided 8 Ph.D. Theses and 25 M.E. Theses. Two projects titled (I) "Assessment of impact of irrigation application in a part of IGNP Stage II command area underlain by hydrologic barrier", and (ii) "Subsurface drainage investigations in Stage II of IGNP at RD 838" have been completed in 1996 and 1997 respectively. I was co-ordinator and member of the study group in these projects. In the first project, evolution of water table due to irrigation application has been studied and time of occurrence of waterlogging condition and state of soil salinisation under arid condition have been predicted. In the second project, the drainage coefficient under arid environment has been estimated and subsurface drainage system has been designed. I am one of the members of the study group who have prepared a drainage manual published by National Institute of Hydrology. Presently, I am the coordinator and membe of the study group of the project "Exploration of Construction of Infiltration Gallery
