The Ninth session of the Committee on Science and Technology and the First Scientific Conference
The 9th session of the Committee on Science and Technology of the UNCCD and its 1st Scientific Conference, organized with the support of the Dryland Science for Development (DSD) consortium has finished on 25th September in Buenos Aires.
The Conference addressed the theme “bio-physical and socio-economic monitoring and assessment of desertification and land degradation, to support decision-making in land and water management” and more than 200 scientists attended the conference.
