The ambition of the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit is to launch a collective journey of transforming our food systems to give us the best possible chance of delivering on the 2030 Agenda. Everyone has a role to play in this. Only by coming together and challenging one another we can spark new ideas and create meaningful impact.
Action Track 3 (AT3) focuses on boosting nature-positive production systems at scale to globally meet the fundamental human right to healthy and nutritious food while operating within planetary boundaries.
As we move forward with developing game-changing solutions we will be looking at the importance of integrating agendas, namely achieving food security, reversing nature loss and limiting climate change. We will dive deep into a few selected topics which have been frequently mentioned in the first few months of stakeholder engagement. These will include:
- Improving incentives and subsidies
- The differing need of food on land and food in the water
- Ways to engage with the AT and help shape game-changing solutions
Speakers will include AT3 leadership, as well as senior executives from WWF, UNCCD and other organisations. More details will follow closer to the Public Forum. Register here.
