Story
The Land Degradation Neutrality Fund (LDN Fund), a mechanism to mobilize impact investments to restore degraded land, will be featured at the One Planet Summit taking place on Wednesday, 26 September 2018, at the Plaza Hotel in New York City, United States.
The Summit is taking place in the margins of the UN General Assembly, and is co-hosted by President Emmanuel Macron of France, UN Secretary-General António Guterres, World Bank President, Jim Yong Kim, and UN Special Envoy for Climate, Michael R. Bloomberg.
The Land Degradation Neutrality fund is part of the global commitments on protecting land and water resources against climate change, which heads of state made at the first Summit held in Paris, France, in December 2017.
