UNCCD Land Ambassador Ricky Kej: Bringing the world together, one song at a time

Colombo, Sri Lanka – UNCCD Land Ambassador Ricky Kej visited Sri Lanka last week as part of his tour to promote the role of land as an accelerator for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

The concert, which was part of the launch of the UN Global Campaign on Sustainable Nitrogen Management at Colombo, Sri Lanka, was aptly called the "Nitro Concert" and took place at the BMICH theater, bringing together the musicians who want to promote environmental consciousness. Ricky, together with Lonnie Park and IP Singh, performed the UNCCD Land Anthem "Born from the Land" to remind the audience about human ties to the land and to amplify the ideas of environmentalism through music, bringing the world together one song at a time.
