Work experience
I conducted three TUBITAK supported projects as project leader and worked in three TUBITAK supported projects as participant. In these projects, geostatistical analyses of nitrate leaching and soil fertility variables along with basic soil properties were assessed. I worked as a consultant to TUBITAK for three years, evaluating projects, arranging projects evaluating panels. Currently, I have been working in a thematic team working on determination of desertification criteria and indices, developing an algorithm to evaluate desertification, and building Turkey's desertification risk maps. I served in scientific committees of more than 10 international symposiums, and in organizing committee of four international scientific events.
