Civil society organizations

An independent, non-governmental, non-profit organisation, founded in July 2018 in Zallingei Capital, Central Darfur State, Sudan. 

DCES was established in response to the critical need for more scientific research studies and development projects in the fields of environment, climate change and advocacy for conserving the rich ecological system and a biodiverse environment in Sudan, with a particular focus on the vulnerable areas of Sudan.  It has now evolved into one of the few centres conducting scientific research, implementing development projects, humanitarian intervention and advocacy at the community level.
