The bubbles or the effervescent cauldron? An Ecosystem Approach to Quality of Life. Considering the serious contemporary problems that affect the quality of life, it is proposed the construction of an ecosystemic model of culture, by means of the link, in a dynamic configuration, of four dimensions of the world (intimate, interactive, social and biophysical), aiming at the development of their uniqueness (identity) and reciprocity (mutual support, giving and receiving). Events are not reduced to surface bubbles (apparent points of view, objects of journalistic, political, market or even academic exploration), but defined in the bulge of the "effervescent cauldron", in view of the combined role of the world dimensions in relation to induction of events (favorable and unfavorable), consequences suffered (wanted and unwanted) and potential for change. The construction of an ecosystemic model of culture is opposed to the perverse concepts of growth, work, power and wealth that guide development projects that ignore, underestimate and undermine values essential to quality of life, culture, education, ethics, citizenship, the natural and constructed environment, physical, mental and social health, today undermined by dehumanization, dominating depersonalization and reification, social and cultural apartheid, and violence in urban centers. In addition to political and economic equity, rights human rights include access to what is best in the heritage of humanity, the rights to education, culture, beauty, creativity, conviviality, tranquility and peace, products of an ecosystem model of culture.
