Ecological catastrophes, climate change, geological, social and economic imbalances, famine, plague, and wars, all the calamities of today’s world, would not be enough, so we can do nothing, but hope that "God would abbreviate these days of torment”? Can we still count on "men of good will"?
In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth. Confident of the excellence of his work, he expected that, in the ions of time, the investment in his creation would produce heavenly dividends: sentient beings, humankind, would recognize, in due time, the excellence of his work.
Since then, the universe has been unfolding: stars, in a multitude of galaxies, created the elements to build
planets that, in some places, could shelter life; on Earth, living beings have spread all over the globe, birds stood out with
their songs, plants replenished it with fruit and adorned it with flowers.
