The Republic of Azerbaijan is hosting this year's World Environment Day in Baku, uniting the world around urgent action on climate change.“Like almost every corner of the Earth, Azerbaijan is facing the devastating impacts of climate change and environmental degradation. Soils are complex ecosystems and one of the earth’s most precious natural resources. Regenerating soils is key to mitigating and adapting to climate change and fighting the loss of biodiversity. Today, throughout viticulture and agriculture, solutions and innovations exist across the globe to manage soils in a more sustainable way.
