This webinar series is jointly organized by UNCCD and Deutsche Welle for young people aged 15 to 35 years, who want to create sustainable jobs in the land sector.  Three webinars are focused on building the necessary capacity to help young people in Africa, Asia and Latin America to venture into land-related entrepreneurial initiatives. The fourth, a global webinar, will bring young people who started their journey under this initiative to meet and share their successes with global policy makers and entrepreneurs, and youth around the world.

This year the Drylands, Deserts and Desertification conference under the theme "Feeding the drylands: challenges in changing environment" will take place online with about a number of sessions and virtual tours scheduled to accommodate the international time zones. All the up-to-date information can be found on the event website. 

The meeting will discuss the SPI work programme for 2020-2021, including the progress made and milestones to be achieved.
