Accredited CSO
The UNCCD COP recognizes that the involvement and participation of the civil society is vital to the successful implementation of this Convention. It therefore welcomes the contribution of CSOs, with particular regard to non-governmental organizations (NGOs), to the official meetings of the UNCCD.
Representatives from CSOs that are accredited to the COP may directly participate in the UNCCD secretariat’s sessions. At these sessions CSOs are consulted on United Nation’s policy and programme matters. They also play key roles at major United Nations conferences as indispensable partners for efforts at the country level. Below are the current accredited CSO's to the Convention.

Peru Energy Ltd aligns with the UNCCD through sustainable energy solutions that reduce deforestation and land degradation. We aim to combat desertification and improve livelihoods by promoting clean cooking with fuel-efficient stoves, solar systems, and briquettes from agricultural waste. Our activities support land restoration, reduce pressure on forest resources, and empower communities through innovation and sustainable practices.
The Network of Advocacy for Youth Empowerment (NAYE) promotes youth engagement in sustainable land and water management, advocating for policies aligned with the UNCCD. Our aims include capacity building, awareness-raising, and fostering youth-led initiatives to combat desertification, land degradation, and drought. Activities involve training, advocacy campaigns, and partnerships to empower youth as agents of environmental resilience and sustainable development.
Jouzour Loubnan promotes sustainable reforestation, ecosystem restoration, and agroforestry in arid and degraded lands across Lebanon. Our work combats desertification, enhances biodiversity, and supports rural development through community engagement, native tree planting, and land rehabilitation—fully aligned with UNCCD goals for land degradation neutrality and climate resilience.
The primary aim of OHCI (Outlook Humaniterian Care Initiative) in the Inclusive Climate Entrepreneurship Project is to empower underrepresented communities through sustainable, climate-focused innovation.
