The event is co-hosted by Türkiye and Hungary, chair and vice-chair of the UNCCD regional Annex IV (Northern Mediterranean region) with the support of the UNCCD Secretariat. The conference will be organized in an online format to include a presentation on the EU policy for COVID-19 recovery in the context of UNCCD implementation, a presentation of LDN good practices by Türkiye and the experience of Hungary in the LDN indicator refinement.
