Accredited CSO
The UNCCD COP recognizes that the involvement and participation of the civil society is vital to the successful implementation of this Convention. It therefore welcomes the contribution of CSOs, with particular regard to non-governmental organizations (NGOs), to the official meetings of the UNCCD.
Representatives from CSOs that are accredited to the COP may directly participate in the UNCCD secretariat’s sessions. At these sessions CSOs are consulted on United Nation’s policy and programme matters. They also play key roles at major United Nations conferences as indispensable partners for efforts at the country level. Below are the current accredited CSO's to the Convention.

The mission of the organisation is to end gender inequality and poverty & care for natural resources. It works with vulnerable people with three fronts - (a) provide subsequent humanitarian support to communities to rebuild their lives from deprivation; (b) work with poverty ridden communities to access knowledge and information to find sustainable ways of lives; and (c) mobilize people to participate in planning, decision making and access support from the Government & other sources.

CSDevNet promotes sustainable land use and youth-led climate action through advocacy, education, and community-based projects. We engage young people in agriculture, forestry, and land restoration initiatives to combat desertification and land degradation, while building resilience and promoting equity-based, pro-poor development across Nigeria.
Biodiversity Conservation Center Nepal (BCCN) works to enhance biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation, and land restoration through community mobilization, conservation education, eco-tourism, and sustainable livelihoods. It supports marginalized communities, promotes rights-based approaches, and implements resilience-focused programs in the Churia-Terai landscapes of Nepal.
Our organization promotes sustainable land management, climate resilience, and community-led adaptation strategies to combat desertification and land degradation. We focus on empowering marginalized groups—especially women and Indigenous communities—through afforestation, organic farming, soil conservation, and climate education initiatives aligned with the goals of the UNCCD.
AfriKids supports women and children in rural, hard-to-reach areas of Ghana with limited access to technology. We promote climate-smart agriculture by training communities—through Agricultural Extension Officers—in sustainable farming, resilient crops, and land preservation. Our work protects the environment and improves livelihoods for people who rely directly on the land to survive. We also sensitize them on tree planting and provide seeds and technical support for this.
The primary theme of our organization is to promote afforestation, soil and water conservation, rehabilitation of land degradation through area closure and planting different trees.
We are a non profit organization, working with a cooperative model, focus on environmental education, conservation, protection and sustainable use of natural resources, seed bank, greenhouse, tree nursery, and agroecological activities starting with cacao also producing honey with beekeeping activities and courses. We are located on the suburban areas of Cancun city, in an area with the highest social and urban inequality. Local and circular economy as a tool to develop.

Because the local community's local potential is as farmers, but on the other hand there are problems faced, namely the environment is not managed sustainably, soil fertility is decreasing, so YTL developed an Integrated and Sustainable Agriculture program through the Agroforestry System.
