Tatiana Auguste

Tatiana Auguste is the Special Assistant to the Executive Secretary.

She brings to the position over 10 years of experience in stabilization, political and security analysis, having worked at the United Nations as a Political Affairs Officer covering a variety of portfolios from the Great Lakes Region to Haiti, Central Africa, Syria and the greater Middle East.

Prior to joining UNCCD, she served as Regional Analyst in the UN Peacekeeping Mission in Southern Lebanon.  She holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology and a MSc in Comparative Politic with a focus in Conflict Studies.
