Supports strengthening the capacity of African country delegates in regional and international negotiations relating to forestry to internalize decisions from international processes and to monitor compliance to international processes. Prepares studies on climate vulnerability of biophysical and socioeconomic systems related to the different African forest types. Provides a platform for information sharing and expertise on sustainable management, use and conservation of Africa’s forest and tree resources.
