Conducts, with communities, activities related to rainwater harvesting in “qotanas” and “gochas”_x000D_ (storage of rainwater in the upper parts of the communities in the wet season). Helps build_x000D_ infrastructure based on traditional knowledge and local materials in the area in order to partially_x000D_ overcome the scarcity of water and increase agricultural biodiversity. Works on agroforestry_x000D_ with Andean communities (high mountain) using native species for multiple purposes (such as_x000D_ medicinal, fuel, organic matter, making of traditional tools, fodder, construction of homes) using_x000D_ practices originating from the local wisdom of the communities which positively influence the_x000D_ mitigation of desertification – wisdom that should be acknowledged and protected.
