Carries out tree-planting activities in areas affected by desertification with the assistance of_x000D_ young people. Mobilizes young people in the fight against desertification. Undertakes_x000D_ programmes to educate children to become aware about their present and future environment._x000D_ Promotes solidarity among young pupils in the country to protect and restore the degraded_x000D_ environment. Collaborates with the Niger UNCCD focal point in the implementation of the_x000D_ national action programme to combat desertification and the management of natural resources._x000D_ Implements the project “SOS Jeunes” to combat desertification through the production of gum_x000D_ arabic. Manages a project for the recuperation of degraded land with the support of young people_x000D_ in the national services and young scouts. Organizes an annual youth camp for the rehabilitation_x000D_ of the land.
