Bilan Awdal Organization (BAO), established in 2002, works to combat desertification and drought in Somaliland through integrated water resource management and sustainable land practices. BAO constructs hafir dams, boreholes, and solar-powered water systems in drought-prone Awdal region, serving rural communities, pastoralists, and IDPs.
