Civil society organizations

The Boke Foundation operates a gamified sustainable development education initiative, SDG Hero, addressing challenges including desertification and biodiversity conservation. We translate UNCCD policy frameworks into game-based tools cultivating ecological literacy and agency among youth aged 9-16 as "Green Heroes" driving changes. These activities include designing gamified toolkits; training educators; facilitating workshops. As of 2026, we trained 1,500+ educators and engaged 87,000+ youth.
