Borneo Nature Foundation works to restore and protect tropical peatland ecosystems through community-led fire management, reforestation, and sustainable land use. Our programmes reduce the threat of catastrophic wildfires, safeguard biodiversity including endangered great apes, and cut carbon emissions. By restoring ecological functions and empowering local communities, we build resilience to climate change and secure long-term ecosystem health.
