The Department of Integrative Biology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison advances research, education, and outreach on ecology, biodiversity, ecosystem resilience, and human-environment interactions. Its work supports the UNCCD through science relevant to land degradation, restoration, sustainable land management, climate adaptation, and community-informed conservation.
