Civil society organizations

acts as a network for Norwegian based NGOs that are working in drylands in Africa; carries out studies in relation to development projects dealing with food security, and natural resource management in the drylands; holds seminars and workshops on sustainable development in these areas; and raises awareness among the Norwegian community on the UNCCD and on how DCG activities can be used in the follow-up to the Convention.
