Focuses on the link between the need for environmental security and the protection of basic human rights. Promotes the sustainable use of natural resources, land and water management, and the clean production and utilization of sustainable technology. Conducts a training project called “Training Young Namibians on the Energy Sector: sustainable options to meet Namibia’s rising energy demand”. Supports the production of renewable energy so as to reduce dependence on wood cutting for cooking and daily life activities and to avoid desertification in rural areas.
