Civil society organizations

The EWT supports UNCCD goals by conserving and restoring critical landscapes, promoting sustainable land management, and building ecosystem and community resilience to drought and climate change. We work across southern and East Africa, which includes arid rangelands of the Karoo and Kalahari, to grasslands and savannas. Combining science, community partnerships, and policy, we aim to enhance soil health, prevent degradation, support livelihoods, and integrate climate adaptation into land-use.
