FAFU is a public, non-profit university with expertise in agriculture, forestry, ecology, and sustainable development. Its work includes research, education, and international cooperation on ecological restoration, soil and water conservation, vegetation recovery, sustainable land management, and Juncao-based solutions for desertification control and land rehabilitation. FAFU has participated in UN-related cooperation and international knowledge exchange in these fields.
