Civil society organizations

The aim of the Global Rewilding Alliance (GRA) and its partners (280 total, of which 40+ work on various types of rangelands worldwide) is to maintain and restore the functionality of Planet Earth’s ecosystems to the benefit of nature and people. A GRA Rangelands Working Group was formed in 2025. 3 key objectives underlie our work: Bring Back Wild Animals; Wilder Working Landscapes; Enhance Ecosystem Services. We believe that cooperation between rewilding and pastoralism is mutually beneficial.
